Short: V37.17, IOBlixZ2 and IOBlix1200 software update, 21-Jan-2001 Author: tboeckel@uni-paderborn.de (Thore Boeckelmann) Uploader: tboeckel@uni-paderborn.de (Thore Boeckelmann) Type: hard/drivr List of recent changes: ioblixser.device/ioblix12ser.device 37.17: - optimized receive/transmit loops a bit again ioblixpar.device/ioblix12par.device 37.17: - IEEE1284 mode selection by environment variables was a little bit broken if you had both IOBlixZ2 and IOBlix1200P installed, because one variable was used for two different ports. For the IOBlixZ2 parallel ports everything stays as is (ENV:IOBlix/ParPortXXMode), for the IOBlix1200P the variable must be named ENV:IOBlix/ParPortCPXXMode, where XX representd the port number _WITH_ leading zeroes!! - the new tool "SetParMode" makes setting the ENV-variables much more easy and lots safer. SerParMode will print the current settings for each parallel port and ask for new settings. After that the new settings will be saved to the corresponding variables. ioblixzip.device/ioblix12zip.device 37.17: - the driver didn't report a disk change when you disconnected the drive from the IOBlix while a disk was inserted. This is fixed now. ioblixether.device 37.17: - the interrupt handler would return a wrong value, if the interrupt was not triggered by the IOBlix Ethernet module, but by some other hardware. Thanks to Krister S. Skrtic and Thomas Wenzel for their hints. IOBlix-Handler 37.17: - just a revision bump SetupIOBlix 37.17: - after some discussing with Thomas Richter he reworked his patch for expansion/AddConfigDev(). Hence the IOBlix1200 modules will be shown again with tools like C='s showconfig if you have mmu.library V42.3+ installed. - QueryIOBlix now checks for devices in multiple directories. Some people have their network driver installed in DEVS:, not in DEVS:Networks. QueryIOBlix wasn't able to find the necessary driver in that case. - the AutoMounter now also is able to mount FAT formatted (MS-DOS) disks. Unfortunately a FAT formatted disk doesn't contain a default device name like Amiga formatted disks with an RDB, so I chose "PZIPC:" as default name. Another limitation is, that CrossDOS's disk layout is assumed. This means that you _must_ use CrossDOS to use this feature is a sensible way. No chance for third party products like FAT95 :( I'll try to change that.
